Introducing the Pivot XD swing-away hitch – the heavy-duty evolution of Kuat's proven Pivot V2 design. Engineered for serious hauling, the Pivot XD delivers a substantial 350 lb load capacity, representing a significant upgrade. The Pivot XD is designed to be accessorized with a molle hoop and spare tire mount, which will be available soon.
Every component has been enhanced for superior performance and durability. The forged latch design provides exceptional rigidity under load, while the custom-machined safety pin works double duty, creating best-in-class stability. The included locking hitch pin and Flatlock™ Hitch Cam system work together to keep your cargo carrier securely attached. The conical ball bearing pivot creates a smooth opening and closing experience.
The Pivot XD maintains the versatility that made the V2 popular, offering both 90 and 120-degree passenger side swing-away capabilities for easy rear vehicle access. Whether you're loading gear or need to access your tailgate, the smooth swing mechanism gets your carrier out of the way quickly.
